These last few years have undoubtedly been a process of change and evolution for Activision’s popular war shooter series, Call of Duty. After years of focusing on classical wars and modern wars, all its sub-studies are now working in futuristic concepts of the franchise, and apparently Infinity Ward has no plans to make an exception.
Some players have recently discovered that the company registered new patents for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Infinity Warfare, exactly the title that a few days ago was leaked through the PlayStation Network and gave rise to the first speculations that came up a few months agoin which an industry insider assured that this Call of Duty will be set in a fantasy story with space combat between different planets.
Throughout today we have also found some updates on the Nuk3town 2065 map, in which this delivery seems to be hinted at. Some walls now have posters that appear to promote a war campaign, in which participants are sought. Plus a video scene appears on the screen of the map with a rather curious sound.
