Asus ROG Phone 6 will launch on July 5

Asus’ ROG phone series gets a new entry for 2022 with the ROG Phone 6. Asus has confirmed that its next gaming phone will launch on July 5 at 8:00 PM Taipei Time (12:00 UTC) at through a live broadcast. The phone will launch with new accessories and gaming headsets.

The teasers from the event don’t give us any details about the ROG Phone 6, but we do know that it will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. We’ve already tested a sample ROG Engineering device with the new SoC and you can check out our first impressions and benchmarks for this phone here.

With over a month until the big announcement, we’ll be sure to get more ROG Phone 6 teasers and make sure to update accordingly.
