The Western and Japanese branches of Nintendo have released new trailers for the upcoming fantasy football game Mario Strikers: Battle League.

The Nintendo of America premiere simply shows a “hit of the week.”

The second from the Japanese branch of Nintendo is a much more comprehensive video showcasing team customization and lots of gameplay that emphasizes the importance of Shooy and Technique stats.

Mario Strikers: Battle League will be released on June 10, exclusively on Nintendo Switch. If you want to see more, you can enjoy a newer game with a special commentator and general trailer.

If you are not familiar with the game, you can read the official description below.

Introducing Strike, a 5v5 soccer sport with no rules – do whatever it takes to win! Be brave and try to score as many goals by attacking enemies and performing Hyper Strikes to increase your score. Super Mario series stalwarts like Peach, Toad, and Yoshi put their cleats (and stats) on the court and will stop at nothing to score… even if it means getting a little tough. Do the carnage online or pass the ball to local players, just watch out for the electric fence.

Get ready and light up

Break ground to earn coins and redeem them for stylish and sturdy gear. Wear these accessories to customize your characters’ stats and appearance. Give your dribblers a speed boost or improve your shooting skills to score. Combine it to match your strategy. You will also find items on the ground like shells and bananas. Use them to trip up your opponents to steal the ball or score.

Team up with Strikers near and far, or join an online club to climb the ranks

8 players can aim for the goal on a Nintendo Switch console, with a local wireless connection or online. Also bring a secondary Striker in the same system in online battles. At the local level, 4 players from each team can play cue against cue in individual matches. With Strikers Clubs, group up to 20 Strikers online* and compete against other clubs to earn points. Find the right club for you, team up with friends, and bring your own Striker style to the table. Redeem in-game tokens for goals, fixtures and more to customize your club’s stadium!
