Remove strikethrough shortcut
If you see a document with strikethrough or strikethrough text, it is most likely because those sections have been overridden or bypassed. Since the Accounting Research Manager (ARM) only contains current documents, there would be other sections within the document that are still valid.
You cannot remove the line that strikes the text within ARM. This is because the crossed-out or crossed-out text is part of a document still in force, and we do not want to give the possibility of reverting the document to a historical state. This could confuse the user.

However, since file A is a worksheet, people sometimes cross things out, which means: it should be deleted, but for the record it stays there first. In the final version it should not appear, so in the process of copying everything to a different file, the crossed-out text should be removed.
You can do this in vba as follows, note that I have wrapped all actions in a custom undo record, then you can call your current vba routine with CopyDocumentToPowerPoint and the word document will be restored to the state it was before the macro was run (strikethrough text remains in the word, but is not pasted into PowerPoint).
It is possible to go character by character and remove the ones with the crossed-out font activated in them (the ones that are crossed out) in MS Word. However, as far as I know, there is no such possibility of detecting a crossed out font in MS PowerPoint.
If you are more integrated into copying a Word table to another Word document and to a PowerPoint presentation, the following code might be helpful. First paste the table into a new Word file, then remove the unnecessary characters, and then paste this new table into PowerPoint.

You can use text editing comments in a PDF to indicate where the text should be edited in the source file. Text edit comments do not change the actual text in the PDF. Instead, they indicate what text should be removed, inserted, or replaced in the source file from which the PDF was created.
Use the Select tool, or the Mark Text Correction tool, then right-click (Windows) or Control-click (Mac OS) the selected text to open a menu of editing options of text. After marking up the text, you can also click on a text editing tool.
Note that you can also change the color of the highlighted text. Right-click (Windows) or Control-click (Mac OS) the highlighted text and click Properties to open the Highlight Properties dialog box, allowing you to change the color.

Ok I don’t know if I’m going to write this correctly so I apologize in advance if I say it multiple times differently. This is what I would like to know. Can a completed task be crossed out / discarded so that it continues to be seen there, but that it is seen to be done, and does not disappear? I want to create a template for new work projects where I have the same immediate initial tasks to do, but when I do the task, I still want to see it there to know that it has been done. I am afraid that if it disappears from the list I will forget that I have made it or that I will not be able to see the notes that I have attached, the ideal would be to use an unmarked task (using asterixis) as the header of the different categories of larger tasks and then follow each one with the individual to-do lists. I am learning more and more about how versatile Todoist can be and need to use it more than I do. Thank you. 7 comments sharesavereport100% votedThis thread is archivedNo new comments can be posted or vote
