CI Games has released a teaser of Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2, showing a major gameplay change in the upcoming sequel: extreme long range sniping. Long range shot is something the Sniper Ghost Warrior community has been asking for, and the new video anticipates a shot taken from 1,506 meters away. Contracts 2’s long-range shooting will be supported by more accurate weapons, greater realism, and improved visuals when the game launches during the 2020 holidays.

The first Contracts was well received and re-established the Sniper Ghost Warrior formula with best-in-class shooting set within an open-world sandbox. Contracts 2 takes these sniper’s havens to the next level with challenging long-range maps set in the game’s new modern setting. In addition to the main contracts, these campaigns are handcrafted to provide immersive and robust gameplay over extreme distances. These maps will challenge even the most skilled snipers as players complete complex challenges undetected from over a kilometer away.
Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 presents a more grounded and relevant experience set in the modern Middle East of 2021. As Reaper, a sniper on a mission, players can leverage new weapons and equipment to take down smarter enemies across new expansive maps.
