Full set of Google Pixel 6a renders leaked

Over the weekend, we saw a full unboxing and hands-on video of the unreleased Google Pixel 6a, including a side-by-side comparison with the Pixel 6 Pro. Now, prolific leaker @EvLeaks may have released the full set of Google Pixel 6a press presentations. Google Pixel 6a on Twitter. It’s worth noting that these renders don’t exactly show anything new, but the leaker did reveal a helpful spec sheet, so let’s start there.

We know pretty much everything there is to know about the Google Pixel 6a right now. The lower-cost Pixel offering powered by Google Tensor will be available for pre-order starting July 21 for $449 in the US. It’ll be available in three colors: white, black, and green (or sage). The Pixel 6a has a 6.1-inch OLED display with HDR support and a built-in scanner.

The Pixel 6a will use an in-display fingerprint scanner and we’re hoping Google has made improvements to its hardware. Users have complained that the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro’s optical scanners are slower and less reliable than the competition’s built-in scanners.

The phone has a 4,306mAh battery, 6GB of DDR5 RAM, 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and support for 4K video recording at up to 60fps. Like other pixels, Google is expected to provide up to 5 years of security updates for the new smartphone.
