Today El Día revealed a new trailer for EVE: Ghost Enemies, the direct sequel to the legendary visual novel EVE: Burst Error and its own sequel EVE: Rebirth Terror.

The trailer introduces familiar and new characters set to appear in this visual novel, including the two leads Kojiro Amagi and Marina Hojo, who fans of the series are likely to know all too well.

The style is definitely quite nostalgic, which I always appreciate. You can see it below.

EVE: Ghost Enemies will be released in Japan for PS4 and Nintendo Switch on April 21, 2022.

Like EVE: Rebirth Terror, the script is being written by Kasa Sakaki, while the character designs will be done by original artist Nao Tajima.

If you’re not familiar with the series, EVE: Burst Error was originally released in 1995, created by the late Hiroyuki Kanno, and achieved a massive cult following. It was recently remade as Eve: Burst Error R. Its sequel EVE: Rebirth Terror was released in 2019.
