In 2009, Halo Wars fans took command of 360 to control the UNSC army and Covenant strike forces to show the more strategic side of the saga. Eight years later, all these battles and power struggles can be replayed in Halo Wars: Definitive Edition starting today. Available in the Xbox store, Windows Store and Steam at a price of 19.99 euros.
The original edition of Halo Wars was very special for several reasons: The game tells of the conflict between the UNSC Fire Spirit and the Covenant two decades before the Master Chief landed on Installation 04 in Halo: Combat Evolved. It was also the first time that a real-time strategy game was adapted to offer an agile, intuitive and user-friendly gaming experience for the controller, thus bringing the genre to a new audience.
Halo Wars: Definitive Edition It works natively on Xbox One and Windows bringing several improvements in the graphics section, a new battery of Achievements and all the DLCs of the original game. PC gamers can enjoy Halo Wars with keyboard and mouse in both the Windows Store and Steam versions. All those who purchase the game through the Xbox store or Windows Store will receive the Xbox Play Anywhere version so they can play on both platforms and take their progress from one platform to another with a single license.
