Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged has been released

There are never enough arcade car games, especially when the theme is provided by our favorite small cars from childhood. This was also felt by the Milestone team, who presented their Hot Wheels Unleashed game in the fall of 2021. Despite all its faults, this went well enough and was successful enough for the Italian studio to start a sequel. THE Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged it came out the other day.

The second part features more than 130 cool vehicles, including new ATVs and motorcycles. The vehicles of different categories have significantly different driving characteristics, so they also offer a different gaming experience. For example, the Rocket category vehicles are fast, but more difficult to control, while the Swift category vehicles are slower, but much more agile. For those who vote for the golden mean, the Balanced category is ideal, but there are also Drift, Heavy Duty and Off-Roads vehicles.

In addition to new vehicles, new environments were added to the game. In addition to the nostalgic arcade game room, we can also build racing tracks in the back garden, a mini golf course, a dinosaur museum and a gas station. New game elements have also appeared, such as single or double jumps and side swipes. During races, players collect XP, which can be spent on upgrades in three categories: speed, handling, and maneuverability.
