To celebrate Genshin Impact version 2.8, miHoYo has partnered with Twitch to offer various rewards to streamers and viewers. Through this process, you will be able to watch exciting gameplay videos while earning valuable items. This is how you can participate in this event and claim Twitch Drops in July 2022.

How to Claim Genshin Impact Twitch Drops (July 2022)

While the Genshin Impact Partner Program on Twitch continues, you can receive gifts by watching or streaming in the games category. However, if you choose to watch Genshin Impact videos, you will need to ensure that you complete the required actions for the event. Here is a step by step guide on how to claim Twitch Drops:

  • Link your Twitch and HoYovere account.

The first thing you need to do to receive your rewards is to link your accounts. You can do this by visiting the Twitch Drop section of the game on the website.

  • Go to the “Genshin Impact” category on Twitch.

Search for “Genshin Impact” on Twitch and scroll down to the “Live Channels” tab. Then type “Drops Enabled” in the Tags section and choose the video of your choice.

  • Look at a streamer tagged as “Drops Enabled”.

After you find a video, you’ll need to watch it for a recommended length of time, with a minimum of 15 minutes and a maximum of 120 minutes. To make sure you’re viewing the correct one, click on your profile picture and you should see a Twitch Drop progress report on the right side of your screen.

  • Check your loot inventory and collect your items.

Once the progress bar reaches 100%, you can click on the “Drops” tab on your profile picture. You’ll then be taken to your inventory, where you can now hit the “Claim Now” button for the time you’ve spent watching videos and streams.

  • Of course, Twitch viewers can get more rewards if they choose to go longer than the minimum 15 minutes, but make sure the video you’re watching is labeled “Drops Enabled.” Also, you can receive more gifts and even increase your popularity if you stream your own game content. For example, streamers can earn a bunch of Primogems and get a chance to be featured on the Twitch homepage.
