If you want to transfer your Chrome browser bookmarks, please update to the latest version of on your Android device. Now, while configuring the new iOS device, look for the “Apps and data” screen, then select on “Migrate data from Android”. If a warning appears on your Android device indicating a weak internet connection, you can ignore it. Enter the code on the Android device and wait for the “Data Transfer” screen to appear.

On the Android device, select the content you want to transfer and click “Next”. At this point, even if Android indicates that the procedure is complete, do not perform any operation on both devices until the loading indicated by the bar on the iOS device is completed. Don’t rush, the whole transfer can take some time depending on the amount of content to be transferred.

What content migrates during the procedure?

The items that are transferred are your contacts, message history, camera photos and videos, web bookmarks, email account, and calendars. In addition, some free apps are also transferred, if available on both Google Play and the App Store. Once the transfer is complete, you will be able to download all the free apps found on the App Store.

When the loading is complete as indicated by the bar on the iOS device, click on “Finish” displayed on the Android device, then select “Continue” on the iOS device and follow the steps displayed on the screen to complete the configuration of the iOS device.

Make sure all content has been transferred. Music, books and PDFs need to be moved manually. If you need the apps that were on your Android, go to the App Store on your iOS device to download them.

If you need help after the transfer

It may happen that only some content has been transferred and that the available space on the iOS device is full or that the memory of the iOS device is full even if the transfer has not been completed. In this case, erase the iOS device and start the transfer again. Verify that the amount of Android content does not exceed the available space on the iOS device.
