How do I put my iPhone’s camera in night mode?
One of the most convenient aspects of night mode on the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro is that it automatically turns on when the camera detects low-light settings.
How can I tell if the night mode is activated?
Open the Camera app in 1x mode and you will see a circular icon with a crescent moon and horizontal lines. at the top of the screen.
- When this icon is yellow, the night mode is activated.
- When the icon is gray, night mode is disabled.
How to use night mode on iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro
When night mode is on, you will see a number next to the night mode icon. This number indicates how long it will take for your iPhone’s camera to capture your image. The darker the setting, the longer the shot will take. To get the best possible photo:
- Check the number of seconds indicated by the night mode icon.
- Press the shutter button and keep your camera still for the number of seconds required.
If you are having difficulty holding your iPhone for the required number of seconds, try holding your elbows at your sides and breathe out slowly; take your shot at the end of the exhale. To add more stability, place your iPhone on a solid surface or use a phone tripod.
