Indian Startup HealthPlix Launches EMR Mobile App
HealthPlix Technologies, an Indian health technology startup, has launched a mobile version of its AI-enabled EMR platform.
Now available on Android and iOS devices, HealthPlix Spot allows clinicians to access their patient information in real time. It also offers them the ability to start a virtual clinic with a dedicated appointment booking site for patients and where doctors can accept prepaid appointments.
It’s packed with multiple features, including the ability to create and share a digital business card with a link to schedule an appointment with your patients. The app allows doctors to keep track of their daily schedules and manage appointments and availability. You can also send automatic reminders to patients to follow up.
The app also has a telemedicine feature that allows doctors to conduct teleconsultations and send digital prescriptions via SMS or WhatsApp. They can also receive AI-enabled smart tips when completing recipes.
In addition, doctors can share appointment updates and changes, as well as send information and greetings in bulk through the application.
BECAUSE IT MATTER
HealthPlix’s latest technology offering is part of its strategy to provide better healthcare in remote areas of India. The mobile app, according to Subhadeep Mondal, Vice President of Products, is not just another companion app but a “stand-alone, mobile-first, easy-to-use” EMR designed for the Indian physician.
“Any doctor in India can instantly unlock remote assistance capabilities and adopt this EMR on mobile devices that have no infrastructure requirements,” he added.
Burhanuddin Pithawala, director of marketing for growth at HealthPlix, said he believes clinicians need mobile and agile solutions to achieve health outcomes. “With no barriers to adoption, we are empowering doctors not only in the metro but also in rural India.” To date, the EMR mobile app has been used by doctors in more than 350 Indian cities.
THE BIGGEST TREND
The launch of the HealthPlix Spot app follows the launch of ROBIN last year in October. HealthPlix’s EMR platform analytics tool includes the Doctor Insights dashboard, a physician-oriented user interface for tracking critical aspects of patient visits, including patient demographics, Visits and follow-up prospects.
The startup’s counterpart in Australia, Global Health, also recently launched an EMR app that is complementary to its MasterCare EMR solution. The MasterCare Connect app provides online and offline access to critical patient information at the point of care.
