Netflix original movies can be a bit hit and miss, but their new project about hunting vampires in Los Angeles definitely sounds like a fun adventure, to say the least. Entitled Day Shift, the film centers on Jamie Foxx, who plays a blue-collar father who hunts vampires for a living.

You can see the trailer below:

We’ll also see a few other prolific names, including Dave Franco (who underestimates Franco’s better brother, not @us), who plays the fellow nerd championing Breaking Dawn Part 2, which is a pick. Snoop Dogg will also star in the movie as another badass vampire hunter, and look, everything about Snoop Dogg is bound to be awesome. Like season 2 of Mythic Quest.

Day Shift will premiere on Netflix on August 12.
