Oppo introduces the entry-level A16e smartphone with a large battery and Android 11

Oppo has just launched a new entry-level smartphone for the Indian market. The phone is called the Oppo A16e and it has a Mediatek Helio P22 chipset, a rear camera and an HD+ screen.

It also comes with a relatively large 4,230mAh battery and Color OS11.1, which is based on Android 11.

The 6.52-inch LCD screen has a teardrop notch for the 5MP f/2.4 selfie camera. The main shooter sits alone at the back with a 13MP sensor, f/2.2 lens, and LED flash.

Unfortunately, the phone has a micro USB port for charging, but at least Oppo has included a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Oppo A16e appears in the colors black, blue and white. Pricing and availability have yet to be announced.
