PlayStation 4 and PS Vita are once again the best sellers in Japan

The state of health of Sony consoles in Japan is enviable. If last week we talked about the more than 40,000 units of Playstation Vita sold thanks especially to Dragon Quest Builders, today we learned that the portable console continues to sell at a good pace (it has dropped to more than 23,000) occupying second place on a podium led, for another week, by PlayStation 4.

Sony’s desktop has once again been the best-selling console in the land of the rising sun, achieving a number of 31,158 units sold in the last week (from February 1 to 7), above PlayStation Vita (23,090) and Nintendo New 3DS XL (19,991, which if we add it to the sales of New 3DS make a total of 24,380 units). It is far away Wii U, which does not reach 4,000 consoles sold when the previous week was close to 9,000. About Xbox One… it’s better not to talk.

Are Media Create data and they make it clear that Sony rules in Japan and is not doing badly in other territories. We leave you with the list of all hardware sales, in parentheses the figures from the previous week:

  1. PlayStation 4 – 31,158 (32,557)
