As many of you know, Sony has officially stopped PlayStation TV production in Japan, a device that allowed us to play our PlayStation Vita games on a television that was launched as an attempt to get reach more players.
Now the company has confirmed that this microconsole will definitely will go down in history, as PlayStation TV shipments stopped at the end of 2015 in North America and Europe; although shipments in Asia will continue for a while.
As stated by a SCEE spokesperson, “the PlayStation Store will still be available on PlayStation TV, and all information related to PlayStation TV will continue to be updated. In terms of application and services for PlayStation TV, we will make future statements to users when necessary.
