What is the Alola to Alola event in Pokémon Go?

The Alola to Alola event is the last event of the Alola season. It returns players to each of the four Alolan islands and provides the ability to catch and battle all kinds of Alolan Pokémon. The event also includes the final special research line of the season that allows players to choose from one of four islands to earn amazing rewards and a special Oricorio hat for their avatar.

When is the Alola to Alola event in Pokémon Go?

Alola to Alola runs from Wednesday, May 25 to Tuesday, May 31, 2022.

Special Investigation: From Alola to Alola

The Alola to Alola event features a branching special research line with four possibilities to choose from. Players who have completed all four event-exclusive Special Research lines during the Alola Season will automatically unlock this Special Research line; however, players can purchase it from the PokéShop. Players who have unlocked Special Research can also purchase additional tickets for more rewards.

Melemele Island Trail

The path to Melemele Island focuses on friendship and includes social tasks such as sending gifts and taking photos. Players who complete this path will earn an Alolan Raichu* encounter, two Poffins, a Lure Mod, four Lucky Eggs, and a Bobble-style Oricorio Hat.

Akala Island Trail

Akala’s Island path is adventure-oriented and involves tasks such as spinning PokéStops and traveling long distances. Players who complete this path will earn an Alolan Marowak* encounter, Incense, two Incubators, a Super Incubator, and an Oricorio Pa’u-style hat.

Ula’ula Island Trail

The path to Ula’ula Island will allow players to catch many Pokémon and perform certain types of throws. Completing this path will net you an Alolan Vulpix* encounter, a Glacial Lure mod, a Magnetic Lure mod, four Incense, and a Baile-style Oricorio hat.

Finally, the Poni Island path is for those who like to battle with tasks to complete Trainer Battles and beat Team GO Rocket. Players who complete this path will earn an Alolan Exeggutor* encounter, a Rocket Radar, three Star Pieces, a Premium Battle Pass, and a Sensu-style Oricorio hat.
