Today, Microsoft and third-party developers released a lot of new content for Microsoft Flight Simulator, with a focus on scenery.

Today, Microsoft and third-party developers released a lot of new content for Microsoft Flight Simulator, with a focus on scenery.

First, Microsoft released Global Update 9, targeting Italy and Malta. The update significantly improves the scenery of both countries, including the following sports, many photogrammetric cities, and 105 points of interest.

Then we have the release of version 2 of Hollywood Burbank Airport (KBUR) in the US.

It is currently available on Orbx Central for $18.72, but those who purchased the original version from the Orbx store get it at no additional cost.

Next up is another Italian version of Salvuz, and that is the Perugia – Umbria International Airport (LIRZ).

It is currently available on Simmarket for $10.42 plus applicable VAT.

SLH Sim Designs has opened the Pointe-à-Pitre International Airport (TFFR) on the island of Grande-Terre in Guadeloupe, France.

Finally, Au Scene announced Reefworld, a helicopter and seaplane destination on Australia’s Great Barrier Reef.

It will launch on the developer’s own store for $9 on May 20. It will include the following elements:
