Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 obtains FCC certification
Just a few days after the Galaxy Z Fold4 appeared on the FCC database, now it’s time for the Galaxy Z Flip4.
As usual, certification alone provides few important specifications or information. This is a very technical test of a device’s network and charging capabilities. The Galaxy Z Flip4, model number SM-F721U, supports Wi-Fi 802.11a/n/ac/ax, 5G (sub-6 GHz and mmWave), and wireless charging.
The Galaxy Z Flip4 is rumored to have a 3,700mAh battery, which is 400mAh larger than its predecessor, and will support 25W charging, compared to the rather slow 15W of the previous phone. On the processor side, Flip4 will ship a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 with 8GB of RAM. On the screen side, it will have a 6.78-inch 1080p Super AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate. On the outer side, there could be a 2.1-inch AMOLED.
The Galaxy Z Flip4 will likely launch on August 10, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Watch5.
