Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 Long Term Review

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 Long Term Review

Introduction

We’ve been through a flurry of long-term foldable smartphone reviews here at GSMArena towers recently, having already reviewed Oppo’s first entrant into the space, as well as Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip3. So now it’s time to get back to the roots of the folding movement, and that can only mean one thing: turning our attention to the original line of mainstream foldables, which is, of course, Samsung’s Fold.

Now in its third iteration, the Fold is better than ever, but is it good enough to take the world by storm? Or is the “phone unfolding into a small tablet” form factor still too niche, still too undercooked, even as we see it in 2022? These are some of the questions that guided us in creating this long-term review of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3.

But numbers and repeatable tests never tell the full story of what it’s like to live with a device day in and day out, so that’s exactly what this long-term review is for.

We’ve used the Fold3 as our sole smartphone for a long time, trying to dig as deep as possible into what makes it tick and where it falls short so we can give you an assessment based on our experience with it. her, and not just numbers and cold hard facts.

With that said, let’s find out together if flip phones are really the future of cell phones, or just a fad that will inevitably morph into something more soon. And what better device to help us on this journey than the latest incarnation of the one who started it all?
