Less than a month ago the developer, the Japanese developer Sega officially published the demo of the long-awaited open-world, action-adventure title Yakuza 6, which will be released as a PlayStation 4 exclusive in Japan during the third and fourth quarter of 2016.
In a recent interview with Famitsu, the game producer, Masayoshi Yokoyama spoke about the title compared to his previous deliveries; comparing the latter with a simple economical car while Yakuza 6 “is definitely a luxury car.”
Among the most important changes, he highlighted that the playable feel Now it is different, since the feeling in combat has changed; removing loading screens, for example. He also clarified that the demo has no relation with the story of Yakuza 6. In fact, neither the clothes we wear nor the people we meet in the demo will be similar to the end game experience. The demo also does not include the upgrade system or minigames, which does not mean that they are absent in the full game.
Finally, he added that the developers are actively found improving the “fight feel” in Yakuza 6, focusing on animations matching and influencing situations because of the physics around. Where we hit will now change depending on the enemy’s position.
