Slitterhead from the creators of Silent Hill, Siren, and Gravity Rush gets new gameplay details, Wold, and more.

Following the reveal of its first Slitterhead game, Bokeh Game Studio released another detailed video in which its founders talked about their work.

The video (the second in a series that began a few days ago) features Sony Japan Studio veteran and Bokeh CEO Keiichiro Toyama, known as the creator of the Gravity Rush, Siren, and Silent Hill franchises, CTO Junya Okura, and the COO. Kazunobu Satō.

We hear the plan is for players to either avoid confrontation or fight back. You can even start the fight yourself.

More enemy and gameplay details were also shared, while the developers mention that the game is a bit more self-explanatory than previous titles they’ve worked on.

There may be joke endings like in Silent Hill and Toyama-san would like to include things like collectibles that give information about the game world.

Sato-san talks about the studio’s work with the Unreal Engine and we hear that the game won’t be open world, but it won’t be linear either. The team wants to add a complex approach to discovering the story from multiple angles.

We also learn that the character dressed in a black suit and helmet in the trailer is named Alex.

The game aims to recreate the atmosphere of Hong Kong in the 1990s, but the names and locations will be fictitious and simply take inspiration from the real world.

You can watch the full video below.

At the moment, not much is known about Slitterhead, which does not yet have a target platform or release year. We will of course keep you posted as more news is shared.

You can also see more music videos and character design.
