‘Smite: Battleground of the Gods’ announced for PS4

The popular MOBA title focused on medieval fights between godshas finally been confirmed for Sony’s current home console, PlayStation 4, under the name Smite: Battleground of the Gods.

That installment was previously developed by Hi-Rez Studios for platforms Xbox One and PC. The game was previously listed for PS4 in an entry on PEGI, the European ratings board. This new version of the game will feature all 70 playable gods and mythological creatures, plus frenetic battles in six different modes. The company has announced that the beta phase will start in march and you can sign up here.
