Star Citizen Reveals Drake Mule Space Truck As Crowdfunding Surpasses $467 Million

Today Cloud Imperium Games released another video showcasing a new vehicle coming to its growing space game Star Citizen.

The new vehicle is made by Drake and is called “Mule”. Not what you’d expect, a six-wheeled space truck for good measure.

Players will be able to ride it soon enough, as Mule will make his playable debut during this year’s Invictus launch week on May 28. To be precise, it will be at Drake’s “Defensecon” spin-off event. Invictus launch week celebrates the UEE Navy, and Drake, being Drake, is not invited.

That said, this means that everyone will be able to play the Mule for free and enjoy a few days as a Fedex space delivery man thanks to the ongoing free flight event. That’s pretty much what this truck is.

You can check it below.

In other Star Citizen news, the crowdfunding total just passed $467 million and currently stands at $467,478,233.

The number of registered accounts also recently surpassed 3.8 million, standing at 3,849,053 at the time of writing.

As usual, you should be aware that not all of them are paying players. The number includes free accounts created for various reasons, including Free Fly events like the one currently taking place.

Creative Director Chris Roberts recently gave an overview of the state of development and plans for 2022 and beyond.
