Super Arcade Football arrived today on Nintendo Switch, cross-play with Steam and mobile

OutOfTheBit announces that Super Arcade Football arrived on Nintendo Switch today. With this latest launch, players will have a hat-trick of platforms to choose from while enjoying the fast-paced modern version of classic soccer games on Steam, Nintendo Switch and mobile devices.

Super Arcade Football takes players back to an era of solidarity, allowing up to four players to enjoy local co-op play on the couch. Players can also test their skills against the computer if they want to hone their skills on their own. Match modifiers keep players on their toes and can be as traditional as changing target size and game speed, or flailing around like destructive meteorites and slippery oil.

In addition to quick matches, players can experience an entire Story Mode set in the same universe as the smash hit OutOfTheBit Super Arcade Racing. Custom tournaments, featuring a variety of fields, weather conditions and more, are as fun as they are satisfying to win; but beware, different environments affect each game in unique ways.

Fans of retro games will have another surprise as Barry Leitch provided the Super Arcade Football soundtrack, having worked on titles such as Lotus Turbo Challenge 2 and Horizon Chase Turbo. Leitch created the soundtrack in .MOD format, a file format found on Amiga computers of the 90s, for an extra old school touch.

Currently discounted by 50%, players on Switch will be able to get it for just 5 euros.
