A new model has recently been added to the AGON by AOC range of ultra-wide monitors. The AGON AG405UXC a 21:9 aspect ratio, 40-inch (100 cm) diagonal model with an IPS panel, 144 Hz refresh rate, and 1 ms MPRT response time.
The flat screen of the AG405UXC has a resolution of 3440*1440 pixels, so it provides plenty of space at the edges, which can be comfortably used for both games and work. We can see more of the game area or we can place several windows next to each other – both cases greatly improve the experience of using the computer. In addition to all this, it also provides Adaptive Sync/AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support, G-SYNC compatibility and DisplayHDR 400 certification.
The monitor’s settings can also be made in the G-Menu software, whether it’s about turning on the Low Blue mode that reduces blue light emission or the Shadow Control function useful in games, or displaying the fps counter. The stand holding the display can be used to adjust the tilt and rotation, and it is also possible to adjust the height by 15 cm. There is also a USB-C connector on the monitor, which can deliver 90 W, so you can even charge your laptop with it.
The AGON AG405UXC was sold in stores at a suggested retail price of 649 euros.
