Weeks ago Ubisoft launched a closed beta of its upcoming massively multiplayer shooter, Tom Clancy’s The Division, which was exclusively available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC for those who had already pre-ordered the game.
When the beta ended, the French developer announced that would release today, an open beta of the game available to everyone on PlayStation 4 and other current generation platforms. For Sony console, the beta can be downloaded through the following link and has a weight of 24.3 GB.
This testing phase is aimed at testing the title with a huge number of players to identify early connection failures and prevent them from occurring on The Division’s launch day, this coming March 8, 2016. Although the open beta was available yesterday for Xbox One, the closing day on all platforms will be this February 22.
