If we just want to stick strictly to the raw figures, then the name is still quite telling. It can be guessed that the novelty has a 49-inch (124.3 cm) screen diagonal. This makes it currently the manufacturer’s largest gamer monitor and also the only one that can claim to be SuperWide, i.e. not 21:9, but 32:9. It also has an extreme resolution of 5120*1440 pixels, which can also be updated at 240Hz. Of course, there should be a configuration on the base that can stably squeeze out so much at such a high resolution.
The response time is 0.03ms GtG, and the contrast ratio is 15,000,000:1. The monitor has been bent 1800R to give users an even more perfect visual experience. There is no lack of functions that are mandatory these days, such as the LowBlue mode and EasyRead, as well as the DisplayHDR True Black 400 and VesaClearMR 13000 plecsnits. Of course, we don’t have to give up the three-sided Ambiglow extra either.
On the back of the futuristic monitor, we find two HDMI 2.1, one DisplayPort 1.4 and one USB-C input, but there are also one USB-B and four USB-A connectors, so you can even charge a laptop or phone. It is also worth mentioning the MultiView support, which allows you to display two sources at the same time.
Philips may be on the shelves of domestic stores sometime in the next few days, but Philips has not revealed it yet. We can be sure that the pen of the traders will not faintly touch the price tag…
