In a recent interview with WCCF Tech, the designer and programmer Nels Anderson has revealed that the duration of Firewatch will be between 5 and 6 hours.
According to Anderson, “it’s quite difficult say the duration of the game because there are several ‘off the beaten path’ areas in the game, which players will not have to visit.” To this he added that he estimates it to be about 6 hours long, maybe five: “when I play it, the feeling is comparable to that of a trilogy of films.”
In Firewatch, in addition to dealing with a love relationship and its complications, we will enjoy an impressive visual section in a forest that we can explore at our convenience. The title will be available from next February 9, 2016.
