The Samsung Galaxy S22 FE may have been cancelled, if it ever existed

Samsung could be shedding the Fan Edition smartphone lineup after just two years, according to a new report that suggests there won’t be a Galaxy S22 FE.

Sammobile sources say there won’t be any FE-branded devices in the near future, leaving the Galaxy S20 FE and Galaxy S21 FE iterations as the only ones for now.

The site also claims that the purported model number SM-S900 does not appear in the usual places, indicating that it does not exist.

It’s unclear why, but given the trouble integrating the Galaxy S21 FE into the schedule before the Galaxy S22 launches, it’s no surprise that Samsung is ditching the device this time. The Galaxy S21 FE arrives in January 2022, although the Galaxy S22 arrives on February 9, 2022. It is not available for a better look at the temps for the respirator for the phone before it, which is essentially a variant of the product. last year.

Ideally, Samsung would probably look to have six months between these two phones, but Spring-Summer belongs to the popular A-series phones, and late Summer-Fall has become the time of year when Samsung releases its foldable phones.

November and December, traditionally speaking, are not good months for smartphone launches, leaving the Galaxy FE battling January, just a month before the new Galaxy S-Series phones are announced.

As Sammobile points out, the S21 FE version has become something of a saga. Renders became available around July, but it was another six months before the phone arrived. When it did finally land, it was fairly well received by critics, including our own associate editor Max Parker, who also added that it was too late to have the intended impact.

He wrote: “The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE ticks several boxes, offering good performance and a well-thought-out list of features. It’s not the most exciting phone I’ve recently reviewed, and I can’t help but feel like it came out a bit late.
