The specifications of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 are filtered
The specifications of the global model Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 have been published on the Internet, thanks to a retail listing.
We learned yesterday that the Redmi Note 11 will launch globally on January 26, which is next week. Now we have a good idea of what we’re going to get, thanks to Philippine retailer Shopee.
According to the listing, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 that we will get in this and most other countries will feature a Snapdragon 680 processor. This is a relatively new mid-range 6nm chip from Qualcomm. This will be supported by at least 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of RAM.
Elsewhere, there’s a 90Hz FHD+ AMOLED display and a 50MP quad-camera system. We don’t know much about the latter apart from the fact that it packs both ultra-wide and macro sensors.
Xiaomiui tweeted that the main 50MP sensor will be a Samsung JN1, which will be introduced in mid-2021.
The original listing claims that the Redmi Note 11 will include a 5,000mAh battery and a 33W charger, along with dual speakers.
All this for the price of 8,999 Philippine pesos, which is equivalent to around £130 or $175. We could consider it a major contender in the hotly contested sub-£200 budget smartphone category.
Especially since Redmi made it our favorite cheap phone of 2021. We awarded the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro our award for Best Affordable Phone at the ComoHow Awards 2021.
While we obviously have our eyes on this phone’s successor, the Redmi Note 11 Pro, we’re also excited to see what the brand can do in 2022 on an even lower budget.
