There will be no Samsung Galaxy S22 FE, it is rumored

Samsung’s Fan Edition (FE) line of phones debuted with the Galaxy S20 FE, and then we saw the Galaxy S21 FE. Logically, you’d expect a Galaxy S22 FE to arrive, but according to a new rumor from “multiple sources,” Samsung won’t actually launch the S22 FE.

So it looks like the company is ready to shelve its FE smartphones after just two years. This may not sit well with fans who wanted a more affordable option with a flagship chipset from the Korean company, and weren’t willing to spend as much as regular S-series flagships now.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE

Samsung struggled to launch the Galaxy S21 FE, which was released nearly a year after the other members of the S21 family were released. At the time, rumors claimed that this was due to the current chip crisis. The S21 FE’s position in the spotlight was quickly taken by the S22 line, which was only announced a few weeks later. Still, that’s not a good reason to stop releasing FE phones, it’s just a reason to release them with less lag after non-FE models.
