Two Black Shark 5 models appear on TENAA

Black Shark 5 series is expected to arrive soon; Traditionally, Xiaomi launched its first gaming phones of the year in March. Two devices, apparently the Black Shark 5 and Black Shark 5 Pro, have appeared on TENAA, revealing key specs and details.

The biggest change will be a new chip for the Pro variant, as well as a better main camera.

The Black Shark 5 Pro has a model number of KTUS-A0 and while TENAA won’t reveal the actual chipset, the 3.0 GHz processor is likely to be from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The RAM is listed as 8/12/16 GB, while the storage is 256 GB or 512 GB.

We’re expecting a 108MP main camera, while the front camera is a 13MP one, which is noticeably less than the Black Shark 4’s 20MP camera. predecessors.

The Black Shark 5 shows up with a 3.2GHz processor, which is likely to be the year-old Snapdragon 870 chipset. It comes with a 64 MP main camera and 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM.

Storage is again 128GB or 256GB and the battery capacity (4650mAh) is also shared between the upcoming phones.

The phones haven’t been released yet, and during the event we’re hoping to find out how involved Tencent is with the gaming brand after the acquisition in January.
