Ulefone Armor X6 Pro is now official and on sale

Ulefone has just released the latest addition to its Armor X lineup – Armor X6 Pro. The obviously beefy device measures 150 x 78.9 x 14.4mm and weighs 227 grams. In keeping with the company’s pedigree, this body is extremely durable and is formally rated as such with IP68/IP69K and MIL-STD-810G certifications. The Armor X6 Pro should also survive submersion for up to 30 minutes in up to 1.5 meters of water, jets of water, and all sorts of fine dust and particles. Its outer polycarbonate shell is multi-layered, with all possible cracks filled with waterproof tape and gaskets. The exterior of the device is also coated with a macromolecule layer for waterproofing. Ulefone says that Armor X6 Pro is particularly suitable for industrial workers, construction workers and all kinds of humanitarian workers.

Ulefone is also proud that Armor X6 Pro comes with the latest Android 12 OS out of the box and all the additional and advanced security features it offers. The ROM itself is clean with no ads or unnecessary bloat and has thick and easy to use UI elements. The phone also has a programmable physical button on the side for comfort and gloved use.

Like the rest of the hardware, the Armor X6 Pro features a 5.0-inch IPS LCD screen with an HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. At the base there is a MediaTek Helio A22 4G chipset with dual SIM support, 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, expandable via SD card. For local connectivity, the phone has Wi-Fi ac and Bluetooth 5.0, as well as GPS with GLONASS, BEIDOU and Galileo and NFC with Google Pay. Other sensors include an accelerometer, a proximity sensor, a light sensor, and an electronic compass. Also included is a 3.5mm jack and an FM radio.

There’s just a 13MP, f/2.2, IMX214 camera on the back with a dual LED flash that can shoot up to 1080p video. The same goes for the selfie camera, which is a 5MP, f/2.2 OmniVision OV5670 unit. Underwater photography is specifically advertised as a feature. It’s all powered by a 4000mAh battery with 5W charging via a micro USB port.

You can get the Ulefone Armor X6 Pro in Black or Orange for an MSRP of $139.99. At the time of writing, it retails for $119.99 on the official website.
