vivo Y30 5G and Y02 coming soon, both specs leaked
vivo is working to expand its already quite wide range of entry-level smartphones, and details of two upcoming devices have been revealed today. We are talking about the Y30 5G and the Y02s.
Not to be confused with the vivo Y30 launched in 2020, the vivo Y30 5G is coming soon with the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC at the helm, along with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It was already certified by the NBTC last week.
The phone is rumored to sport a 6.51-inch 60Hz HD+ IPS LCD touchscreen display and run Android 12. On the back, it is expected to sport a dual camera setup with a 13MP main sensor and ultra-wide gaming 8MP wide angle. On the front there will be an 8 MP selfie camera. The phone is said to have a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging.
Apparently, the Y02s will have the same screen size and refresh rate, so they may even share HD+ resolution. This model will be powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset, along with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
When it comes to the camera, you should expect the same setup as the Y01, with an 8MP rear snapper and a 5MP front shooter. There’s also a 5,000mAh battery in tow. Y02s are expected to be official before the end of this month, with an announcement likely on July 28. Its price will be around $113 which is around INR 9400.
