Today, Sega and Creative Assembly announced the beta release date for the highly anticipated “Immortal Empires” campaign for Total War: Warhammer 3.

It will be released on August 23, exclusively for PC.

The announcement was made in conjunction with the release of a Q&A video featuring New Content Team Game Director Richard Aldridge and New Content Team Lead Designer Mitchell Heastie.

The video includes answers to many questions from the player base. Despite a lot of them being essentially “why aren’t we doing this at launch, but maybe in the future,” the two developers provide some pretty interesting insight into what we can expect from the campaign.

On top of that, we see brand new gameplay footage from Immortal Empires, which certainly doesn’t hurt.

If you’re not familiar with Immortal Empires, it’s Total War: Warhammer 3’s version of TWW2’s ‘Mortal Empires’, which essentially packs all three games in the series into one absolutely huge map with every available faction, and also focuses on the game that will be more sandbox like compared to the original campaign of the game.

Total War: Warhammer 3 is currently available exclusively on PC.

If you want to know more, you can read my review of the game, which will give you a better idea of what it offers before the implementation of Immortal Empires.
