Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T 5G and Redmi 9T: triple camera, reinforced batteries and super prices

Xiaomi presented two new smartphone models: Redmi Note 9T 5G and Redmi 9T. The first is a smartphone with latest generation connectivity and excellent value for money, while the second is a classic 4G entry-level. But let’s go in order:

Redmi Note 9T

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T is moved by Dimensity 800U processor from MediaTek, an octa core with a maximum frequency of 2.4 Ghz and 7nm processing technology, is available in two versions (4/64 GB and 4/128 GB) and offers a 6.53 “Full HD + display and a large battery from 5,000 mAh. It offers 18W fast charging and comes with a 22.5W charger. The 3D unibody rear body is curved while the fingerprint sensor is present on the side of the device.

The camera sector is led by a lens from 48 Megapixels (f / 1.79) combined with a depth sensor from 2 Megapixel (f / 2.4) and a macro lens from 2 Megapixel (f / 2.4). On the front, however, we find a 13 Megapixel selfie camera (f / 2.25).

The good too audio segment, in which a dual speaker stands out (a function usually reserved for high-end models) and the presence of the 3.5 mm jack. The drawer of the Sim, in addition to two cards (which can both work in 5G), can also accommodate the memory expansion at the same time. There is no lack of NFC connectivity.

Prices, colors, cuts and availability

Redmi Note 9T 5G will be available starting from January 25 in two colors (Nightfall Black and Daybreak Purple) and with two different configurations: the version from 4GB + 64GB will be available on mi.com and at Mi Store Italia at the price of 269.90 euros And, alone for the first 48 hours, on mi.com will be purchasable at a price early bird from 239.90 euros.

The configuration 4GB + 128GB it will instead be available on mi.com and at Mi Store Italia at the price of 299.90 euros and, soon it will also be available for purchase exclusively with TIM.

Redmi 9T

Redmi 9T instead it is Xiaomi’s entry level 4G proposal: it comes with a 48 Megapixel camera with artificial intelligence assisted by an 8 Megapixel ultra wide angle and a 2 Megapixel depth sensor (dedicated to the bokeh effect). On the front an 8 Megapixel selfie camera. Redmi 9T is also equipped with a new movie frame function that gives photos a more cinematic look without the need for editing.

The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 11 nm processor, has a 6.53 “Full HD + Dot Drop display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and 6,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging and 22.5W battery charger.

The memory is expandable up to 512GB.

Prices and sales channels for Redmi 9T will be communicated upon arrival of the product on the Italian market.
