IPhone clocks are automatically set to show time on a 12-hour cycle, and if that’s the time you’re used to, you might not think of another option. However, if you prefer the 24-hour clock, also known as military time, it’s an easy change to make in the Settings app. So if instead of reading 4:15, you want your iPhone to read 16:15, here’s how to switch to a 24-hour clock.
Open your Settings app. Touch General.
Scroll down and select Date & Time. Activate the 24-hour format.
That’s all about it! Instead of dividing the day into two 12-hour cycles, you will now see the time on your iPhone in military time using the full 24 hours. If you decided you want to switch back, just turn off 24 Hour Time and you’re done.
