Appeal Studios isn’t just working on Gangs of Sherwood, they’re making it Outcast – A New Beginning too. A brand new trailer for the latter game arrived the other day, in which we can get to know the combat system more closely.
Players can also now take on the role of Cutter Slade, who returns to the site of his previous adventures, on an alien planet. Here, not only the local wildlife can pose a threat to him, but also the robot armies attacking the planet. That is why battles will be a constant and important element of the gameplay.
Cutter Slade has a special weapon for which more than thirty accessories and improvements can be found in the game world. With different combinations of these, it will be possible to shift the characteristics of the weapon in one direction or another. He will also have an energy shield that can be used for both defense and offense.
As we have already seen in the previous previews and above, in addition to the weapons, the jetpack also plays an important role. With this, we can not only approach hard-to-reach places, but it can also give you a significant tactical advantage in battle. Last but not least, you can also acquire ancient talan powers and abilities by completing quests in villages. In this case, we can get extras such as anti-gravity, flying animals that throw bombs and the like.
Outcast – A New Beginning is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, but the developers still haven’t revealed when it might be released.
