Witchfire – new materials and some information

Just as Adrian Chmielarz promised a few days ago, it happened. The Astronauts today published new material from their latest production titled Witchfire and provided some information about the plot itself.

The production will be a first-person shooter in which we play the role of a witch slayer, punishing in the name of the church. The game will not be based on a film story full of cutscenes, and the plot itself will be limited, just like in Bulletstorm. The gameplay will not be the easiest, and there will be many paths to victory.

Witchfire was announced during The Game Awards 2017, and the first trailer of the shooter caused a sensation on the Internet. However, the premiere is still far away. A small team of eight people is currently working on the game and has done a tremendous amount of work over the last year. The developer does not rule out that when work on the game enters a more advanced phase, the development team will expand to include several names.

The game’s premiere is planned for the end of 2019, but the creators already assume that 2020 is also a very realistic date.
