Logbook The logbook stores the records of your recorded activities. Suunto Movescount.com (web service): Our web service will continue to evolve in 2020. Two days ago Suunto announced its plans to retire its online training platform, Movescount, sometime in the summer of 2020 (in about 18 months). Instead, users will use Suunto’s new online platform (formerly called Sports Tracker, not related to SportTracks). That’s the platform that Suunto has been pushing since the launch of the Suunto 3 watch a year ago, and then this past summer with the Suunto 9 series.
As you might expect, this has raised all kinds of questions on various topics. Whether it’s due to the lack of features on the new Suunto platform or the lack of compatibility with older watches (especially the Ambit 1/2 series), there are many reasons for the situation to be clarified. Suunto has tried to cover this in a long FAQ page, although given the number of questions I have seen in the last 48 hours it is clear that that page might not be as clear as desired. So I’m going to try to cover some of the key points (after checking a few things with Suunto).

I’ve been with my Ambit 2 for a few months now, and I have to say I love it. it makes my workouts much more productive, and I can finally see in a data format what I have done and what needs to be improved.
– If I don’t delete the old records, won’t the clock fill up at a certain point, or does it automatically replace the old data with the new workouts? if so, what is the overall capacity of the journal, to make sure i transfer everything in movescoumt before i lose any data?
