The Nokia 5700 XpressMusic was introduced

THE Nokia today presented the Nokia 5700 XpressMusic device, an available 3G smartphone specifically tuned to music. XpressMusic appears in the emblematic twistable form, with which you can switch between four modes: music playback, 2 megapixel camera, video call and smartphone. The 5700’s 2 GB microSD card can hold up to 1,500 songs, which means a total of 86 hours of music. In addition, with the built-in stereo speakerphone, we can listen to our music with others. The optimized music player supports the display of album covers, playlists, a five-band equalizer and graphics accompanying the music. With XpressMusic, it’s quick and easy to rip tracks from CDs and download music from computers, as users can choose from a whole range of supported digital formats, including WMA, MP3, eAAC+ and MP4. The choice is also huge when shopping online, because all online music stores that use Windows Media Player Digital Rights Management (WMDRM) digital rights management are available to the user. The phone is also equipped with a display that displays 16 million color shades and also provides video images, a video call function, a built-in 2 megapixel camera and S60 software. The 5700 XpressMusic is expected to be available for purchase from the second quarter of 2007, at a price of around 350 euros.
