Star Guardian is one of the most iconic event series in Riot Games’ popular MOBA League of Legends, and it’s back.

Today, the developer released a trailer titled “Return to Valoran City” announcing that Star Guardian will return for 2022 next month on July 14.

The trailer doesn’t show much more than a few glimpses of the city and a brief glimpse of Lux in her school uniform.

You can see it below.

At this time, Riot Games has not provided any more information about the event, but we will probably know more soon. By the way, just a few days ago we saw the reveal of a new champion, Nilah.

If you’re interested in League of Legends, Riot Games recently announced a deal with Microsoft to offer all of the game’s champions unlocked through Xbox Game Pass. It is worth mentioning that this does not mean that the veteran MOBA is coming to Xbox, but rather that the offer will only be available on the PC version.

It also extends to other Riot games, including Valorant and more.

If lane-walking isn’t your thing but you love the lore of League of Legends, Riot Games is working on a fighting game called “Project L”, though it appears to be quite a ways from release.

We’ve seen champions like Ahri, Jinx, Darius, and Ekko in action, and there will even be netcode restoration. It’ll be interesting to see where it lands, and you’ll hear more here on Twitter as soon as Riot makes another reveal.
