Ming-Chi Kuo: Apple’s new MacBook Air will arrive this year with a new design
Shortly after yesterday’s Apple event, renowned Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo revealed some interesting predictions for the next MacBook Air. We should expect the new laptop to arrive at the end of this year.
To meet the deadline, Apple is supposed to start production in the second or third quarter. The new design will be more in line with the current MacBook Pro lineup, and Apple will offer up to seven color options. Some of them may have white bezels and a white keyboard. The thickness and weight must also be reduced.
While Apple’s M1 chip will be at the helm, this year’s MacBook Air won’t have the mini-LED display. Again, the current Air is powered by an M1, so it’s rather strange to see the same use in the 2022 model. Perhaps the design is the only major change.
