Samsung will apparently launch a 1TB Galaxy Z Fold4

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold4 has been leaking a lot lately, and today we got another piece of information about it. According to the latest rumour, the foldable smartphone will have a version with a whopping 1TB of storage.

That’s twice the maximum storage capacity of the Galaxy Z Fold3 and probably covers even those who like to amass digital content on their devices. It’s unclear what price Samsung will set for the Fold4, but for reference, the 512GB model of the Fold3 launched at $1,899. If the 512GB Fold4 keeps the same price at launch, expect the 1TB model to fetch at least $1,999, if not $2,049 or even $2,099.

The amount of storage matters because the Fold3 doesn’t have a microSD card slot, and its successor will most likely join that club. So what you get when you buy the phone is the most you’ll ever get, which means more flexibility by offering more options is a welcome move from Samsung. Obviously, since this is just a rumor at the moment, don’t take it too seriously.

We’ve already heard that the Fold4 will be lighter than the Fold3 and powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Keeping the lights on is supposedly a 4400mAh battery.
