Apple is about to bring some big news to the audio world, thanks to the arrival of the AirPods 4 and AirPods Max 2 in 2024, according to the very famous journalist Mark Gurman of SamaGame News. The standard and AirPods Max will see an update in 2024, while the AirPods Pro will not be updated until 2025.

As for the AirPods 4 and AirPods Pro 3, Apple will update the design of the individual wireless earphones, but also of the wireless charging case, improving audio quality, battery life and much more.
In particular, there is talk of a significantly “improved” fit, but it is not clear whether Apple intends to add in-ear earplugs, clearly made of silicone. As for the case, however, it will gain speakers for Find My alerts, similar to those present on the current AirPods Pro 2 and a USB-C charging port, mandatory for the new European law.
Finally, the AirPods Max 2 will have a new USB-C port for fast charging, instead of a Lightning port and Apple will also have new colors. There are no other notable features planned at this time.
