During a question and answer session at financial results of CD Projekt Red, company president Adam Kicinski and studio director Adam Badowski comment that Cyberpunk still has some time left a good path in front.
This is stated in a translation of the informative medium DualShockers, sharing the company’s concern about now having a very high bar after the successful The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, so according to Badowski this new Cyberpunk 2077 will have to “be even bigger and even more revolutionary” than had previously been planned.
Logically, this too translates into more work to do to result in “a massive game” that will be much larger in scale than The Witcher 3.
The company also wants double down on content to its previous delivery, so it has proposed making new hires to increase its current number of 400 team members, so Kicinski wants to at least bring that number 800 workers or more and separate them into four teams; This after previous statements stating that there were already a good number of employees working on Cyberpunk 2077.
We now know that CD Projekt RED is completely committed with this delivery and we can expect good results, although probably by the end of next year.
