Firefox for Honeycomb

Mozilla developer Ian Barlow has presented some design features of the upcoming Firefox browser for tablets in his blog.

The tablet Firefox is considered a further development of the browser for smartphones and, according to the Barlows blog entry, comes with minimalist elements without losing the Firefox feel. The Awesome Bar is available with menu entries for bookmarks, browser history and synchronization options. Unlike small smartphone screens, tablets offer more space. Mozilla is therefore bringing back some elements that were radically removed from the mobile phone browser, including tabs. If the tablet is held horizontally, the tabs move to the outside left, where they can be accessed with the thumb, says Barlow. The developer has also published some of his designs for Firefox for Android tablets on Flickr.
