Isometric Metro Exodus? Pandemic Train is out

Trains may be the next big thing for game developers. Okay, so far dozens of simulators and tycoons have appeared on the iron fence, but classic strategies and survival games are less so for now. But now we have two such novelties. Last Train Home will be released within weeks, while it was made in the studio of Trigger Labs Pandemic Train has already appeared.

The story of the game produced by PlayWay takes place after a worldwide disaster that wiped out most of humanity, plus created zombies and mutants. The handful of survivors have discovered that the secret to a long life is to keep moving. And the most optimal way to do this is to settle in on the same train.

One of the main pillars of the gameplay is managing this train and keeping its passengers alive. The other pillar is the stops, since you can’t stay in motion forever (this isn’t Snowpiercer). Each stop is also a new mission where you can arm a few survivors and send them out for supplies. But this can be very dangerous, see the trailer above.

Pandemic Train was made exclusively for PC and is available on Steam from today.
